*Please arrive 10 minutes before treatment time in order to make payment and to settle into treatment area.

*Clients who arrive at or before the last scheduled appointment time can stay for 1 hour of acupuncture. Late arrivals for the last appointment will not have enough time for treatment.

ANY MISSED APPOINTMENT WILL BE CHARGED A $15 FEE.

The Sliding Scale

Acupuncture works best when it is done frequently and regularly. We want to make it possible for you to come in frequently enough to get better and stay better. The sliding scale exists in order to provide this powerful healing modality to as many people as possible, as often as they need it.

The Community

We use recliners in our clinic that are clustered together in a large, quiet, soothing space. We keep talking to a minimum and treat multiple patients in an hour. Often groups of family and friends come in for treatment together benefiting from not only the treatment itself but the collective healing energy of the group. Our streamlined treatments are safe, effective and very relaxing.

The soothing atmosphere in our clinic exists because all of our patients create it by relaxing together. Most people report that relaxing in a large group with other people is more relaxing than being treated alone in a small room.

The Acupuncture

Millions of people have found acupuncture to be a better solution than drugs or surgery. With a 3,000-year history, acupuncture successfully addresses many ailments and manages pain with no drugs or side affects. Acupuncture is a safe, painless alternative for treating the following:

Arthritis, fibromyalgia, low back pain, neck pain.
Asthma, allergies and other respiratory symptoms.
Gastrointestinal/Digestive issues.
Gynecological issues such as infertility, PMS, irregular and/or painful menses.
Depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress.
And many, many more physical, emotional and neurological issues.

The Treatment

In order to treat multiple patients in an hour, we most often rely on pulse diagnosis (checking the pulse at the wrists) to decide how to treat you. An average acupuncture treatment consists of 5-20 sterile, disposable (one-time use) needles. They are typically inserted into the legs, arms, hands and feet.

Since acupuncture involves the use of needles, people often asks if it hurts. The needles acupuncturists use very fine and flexible, about the width of human hair. Treatment by a skilled, trained and licensed practitioner is relaxing and causes minimal to no discomfort.

People often sleep during their treatment and wake up feeling refreshed! Treatment time can vary from 20 minutes to 2 hours. You choose how long you stay.

The Experience

The best way to see how acupuncture can work for you is to try it! You will need to wear loose, comfortable clothing. Also try to come with a little food in your system. To get the best out of the experience, try to come when you are not in a rush immediately following the treatment.
